Remixing a track that is as closely associated with a scene as ‘Finally’ is to house music is always going to a tricky business, but all involved have done a sterling job on treating this with respect it deserves. East & Young’s version played on a few week's back on The AudioGroove Radio Show retains the deeply emotional qualities of the original while reworking Julie McKnight’s seminal vocal around huge synths and a massive, peak-time breakdown that breathes new life into an unforgettable club anthem.
